TWIRLING COLORS

Twirling colors
spinners
joy jumping from the unwanted lines
blue and purple
green stranger
greenhorn
immigrant
soon you
shall see
the joy will come
and be revealed
jump from the swirling colors
twirling
in old navy
faded glory
rough indigo
sweaty tabacco
farmers
straw hats
southern
sense
morality
silent morality
no questions
i am not so great
as to deny myself integrity
morality
for there is no questions
shhhh

fingers
pointing
dark come
back
dont go there
little girle
we- dont go there
paradigms everyone is
the same
and I ask myself what am I
why i lie
lie here and wait
for the grass to grow
for the sun to shine
for the friends
to introduce themselves
for a summer dress to sprout
and grow
for worries to skip away
no turning back hands behind there back
if they would hide some of my joy on ther way theey would hold it in front of them
they skip away
and off to the dark land where they would greet gifts of my joy
and perhaps devour it
or inspect it
jeering
my joy
human
joy
your joy
the world needs a fix
double helping of joy and a
sun cherry
on top
and a new
pair of shoes
well earned
well worn with time
no shame
hard earned
hard played
hard worn
worned
warned
of the danger
pick up and run
its all over fold over the picnic blankets the dishes
clatter and
liquids stain
the fragile red
checks
